i've always been a fan of garcia & rodrigues for lunch/brunch even though it orverpriced & not particularly different, it has consistently good service/food & atmosphere. weekdays are known for morning breakfast meetings & power lunches. weekends are family & apres-sol friendly. i've never been there for dinner & i don't think i want to go since i think of it as only a day place.
since laila is sick & i can't take her to the pool a la our usual tuesday morning ritual, i took her to get breakfast at 9am. ordered g&r's yummy yogurt w/ granola & honey, cappuccino and h2o. here have high chairs but without seatbelts or a tray. so laila is old enough to sit in one of these but she is so squirmy i know if i let one hand off of her she won't be seated for long. but she was pretty good this morning so i could actually enjoy my breakfast without completely wolfing it down for once. i think the cheerios helped. thank god for cheerios! now laila is too busy putting a cheerio in her mouth to crawl out of the chair.

restaurant: 2 (high chair w/o seatbelt)
bathroom: 1 (didn't use it but it's in the basement which means maneuvering down steep narrow stairs w/ baby)
staff: 5 (very smiley & friendly - helped me with the stroller)
public: 3 (weekdays is a business crowd, weekends are no problem)
infrastructure: 3 (front tables are tight for stroller, the back dining room tables are roomier for weekend brunch, 2nd floor is accessible only if someone is there to carry your stroller - which the waitstaff will do if your husband is not around)
